Max. Oil load in air intake:
Wet air enters the absorption dryer via bottom air intake, ﬂows to the check valve V1 and enters the absorption tower A, so that the water contents are absorbed by the absorbent in the tower. Then, the dried air passes by the check valve CV1, exhausted to the air supply station, while the partially dried air passes by the regeneration valve V5 for throttling and pressure decreasing, and ﬂows to the regeneration tower B after being heated by the electrical heater E1, activates the absorbent in the tower B, so that the waste gas ﬂows to the check valve V4 and the silencer MF, exhausted to the air. Once one cycle is ﬁnished, A, B and the check valve may be switched, so that tower A is for regeneration and tower B for absorption for the next cycle. The cycle is repeated for dry processing of the compressed air.
In delivery, the standard cycle is set of 4 hours, including 2 hours for absorption,
1.5 hours for regeneration and 0.5 hours for blasting till cold and pressure equalization. The heating temperature is 250℃. Since the regenerated air may be heated eclectically and ﬂows to the regeneration tower, thus the air consumption in generation may highly decreased.

Absorption dryer shall have pre-ﬁlter installed at the inlet, as direct ﬂow-in of liquid water to the absorption bed may largely decrease the absorption effects, or entering of the oil fog may shorten life cycle of the absorbent, or the absorbent may loose its absorption capability due to “oil poisoning”.
